19 – 23 November 2017, Sydney Australia

Suggested Activities

If you’ve got your tickets to the Welcome Reception and the Gala Dinner AND you’ve signed up for our Wellbeing Activities, BUT you’re still looking for something extra to do while you’re in Sydney, then why not take a look at our list of suggested activities below!

Sydney Seafood School Cooking Class

The largest of its kind in the Southern hemisphere, Sydney Fish Markets is not only a destination for foodies hunting for the freshest seafood but it’s also home to a specialised cooking school. Some of Australia’s leading chefs, including Christine Manfield, Matt Moran and Guillaume Brahimi, are guest presenters.

All classes commence in the School’s tiered auditorium with a demonstration of the dish or dishes to be prepared. After watching the demonstration, guests roll up their sleeves and, in groups of five with guidance from the presenter and assistants, recreate the dishes, preparing a delicious seafood meal which they then sit down and enjoy with a complimentary wine tasting.

Sydney Seafood School conducts a wide range of classes for all skill levels, from a simple paella or stir-fry to the more complex weekend workshops with leading chefs. A vast array of cuisines and cooking styles are covered, including the School’s most popular class, Seafood BBQ.

Three Sisters at the Opera House

Why not take this opportunity to see Three Sisters, a beautiful contemporary re-telling of Chekhov’s masterpiece, live in one of the 20th century’s most famous and distinctive buildings?

Set across a span of several years, Anton Chekhov’s masterpiece reveals the hopes, the loves and the sacrifices of its three sisters and the many people who cross their paths. In a world falling apart at the seams, people will go on living, loving and laughing.

Andrew Upton’s compelling new adaptation preserves the essential spirit of this beloved classic, and delves into the lives of these brilliant young women with a contemporary sensibility – this promises to be a riveting performance of a stunning play.

Make the most of your experience with a food and beverage package and a backstage tour.
