Guided Bronte to Bondi Walk including Breakfast
Activity: Guide Coastal Walk including breakfast at the Bucket List Bondi Beach

A luxury coach with an experienced Guide takes you from the Sydney CBD to the beautiful coastline of Bronte Beach. Guests then embark on a cliff top coastal walk that passes between two of Australia’s best-known beaches; the Bronte to Bondi walk extends for approximately 2.2 km in Sydney’s eastern suburbs and is the most famous,most walked track in Sydney.
Join a relaxed Rick Brennan speaking on “A road less travelled in EM,” offering insights into his remarkable career with humanitarian emergencies and in post-conflict settings in over 35 countries across Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and Eastern Europe.
The Bronte to Bondi coastal walk is a medium grade walk but with rest stops and seating along the way. The path is mostly sealed, and with the exception of some rocky patches and it takes about 30-40 minutes to complete the walk directly. Although an urban walk the Bronte to Bondi walk is open to the elements, so please make sure you wear comfy shoes, bring a hat, sunglasses, sun screen and wear appropriate clothing. Cameras are compulsory!!
Upon arrival at Bondi, guests will then enjoy a seated breakfast at the Bucket List Bondi Beach, before a return transfer back to the Sydney CBD.
Cost is inclusive of the following:
- Return coach transfer based on a 58 seater for a 3 hour duration from the Sydney CBD to Bronte/Bondi.
- Experienced Arinex Guide to accompany and provide assistance.

Yoga at Tumbalong Park
Activity: Yoga at Tumbalong Park
Time: 7am – 8am
Cost: AU$35 per person
Yoga is recognised as an ancient system of philosophies, principles and practices derived from the Vedic tradition of India and the Himalayas. Yoga cultivates health and wellbeing (physical, emotional, mental and social) through the regular practice of a range of many different techniques, including postures and movement, breath awareness and breathing exercises, relaxation and concentration, self-inquiry and meditation. Allow your mind to be cleared and enjoy the calm and strength of a one hour lesson facilitated by an experienced instructor.

Discover Sydney’s Colonial Quarter and Sydney Opera House
Activity: Walking Tour of the Rocks and Sydney Opera House

During this walking tour of Australia’s oldest convict settlement – The Rocks, journey back to the 19th century when The Rocks was Sydney’s colourful commercial and maritime quarter. You will weave through hidden narrow alleyways, along charming cobbled lanes and into shady courtyards, linger by quaint terrace cottages and visit a gothic church.
After exploring The Rocks, continue to the Sydney Opera House. Designed by controversial Danish architect, Jørn Utzon, the Opera House is one of Australia’s biggest icons – not just for its unique design and spectacular setting, but for the world class program of opera, ballet, contemporary dance, theatre and classical music. Tour the auditoriums and halls and discover the myths and magic of the Opera House and the artists who have performed there. The tour begins and concludes in Circular Quay.
Sailing Regatta on Sydney Harbour
Activity: Sailing Regatta on Sydney Harbour
Time: 3.00pm – 6.00pm (Duration 3 hours)

If you are looking to step it up a gear then try a Sailing Regatta on beautiful Sydney Harbour. It’s an exciting, innovative team-building event, an an excellent and entertaining way to get active on the Harbour.
Teams race the yachts from point A to a finish at Point B. We then start the 2nd race at Point B that will finish back at Point A, but via a different course. This gives the teams the opportunity to tune their sailing skills and race tactics for the 2nd race.
The tour begins and concludes in Darling Harbour.
3 Hour Scenic Bike Tour of Sydney
Activity: 3 Hour Scenic Bike Tour of Sydney
Time: 3.00pm – 6.00pm
Cost: AU$120 per person
This 3 hour adventure through Sydney will include exploration of the historic Rocks precinct known, a trip over the Harbour Bridge, Kirribilli, North Sydney’s Secret Garden and Barangaroo. There will be plenty of scenic stops, amazing photo opportunities and some great down to earth commentary. Discover Sydney’s hidden secrets and famous sights on this active and fun-filled Bike tour.

Tai Chi at Tumbalong Park
Activity: Tai Chi
Time: 3.00pm – 6.00pm
Cost: AU$35 per person
Originating in China Tai Chi stems from Chinese Martial Arts (Wushu), but has been practiced for general health and fitness since the 16th Century. Tai Chi’s slow, gentle and tranquil movements enable harmony in mind and body, improved mobility, suppleness and mental alertness. Anyone regardless of fitness level or age can practice and benefit from Tai Chi.
Enjoy a one hour lesson with an experienced instructor, as they take you through basic movements and introduce you to the Health Benefits of this outstanding gem of traditional Chinese culture.

Activity: Climbing the Sydney Harbour Bridge

Climbing the Sydney Harbour Bridge is an exhilarating experience. Rendezvous at the BridgeClimb office for a safety briefing and prepare for your three-hour adventure! Accompanied by an experienced leader your small team will cross the catwalk to the pylon and walk up to the summit of the Bridge’s upper arch – 130 metres above sea level. Harnessed to a static line for the duration of the climb, be treated to spectacular 360-degree views across one of the greatest harbours in the world.
The tour begins and concludes at the BridgeClimb office in The Rocks.
Touring Terms and Conditions
These tours are designed by Arinex Destination Management (license No. 2TA001144), for participating delegates and accompanying persons attending the 34th Annual Scientific Meeting for Australasian College for Emergency Medicine.
Comfortable shoes and clothing are recommended for all tours. For any outdoor tours we recommend that participants bring sun protection cream, sunhat and sunglasses.
All tours are based on a minimum number of participants. If minimum numbers are not reached, alternative arrangements or a complete refund will be made. Places on all tours are limited and will be allocated strictly in order of receipt of payment. Where participants cancel their tour bookings prior to 28th August, 2017, payment will be refunded in full. Thereafter, no refunds will be made.
